Given the limited utility of the tools currently available to us, editing the individual objects is our only option until they are updated/replaced. But once you have all the pieces imported they can be edited together and fit as they should. See attached example.

As for Player Serena's overworld model, I believe that it is stored differently than the others because of the clothing system. All the different parts are stored elsewhere. I don't know where though, I haven't found them yet.
I wanted to use Serena as playable character in ORAS. I think I'll use her NPC OW's model.

EDIT: Or not... Modding for XY models for XY is easy, but I don't really know how XY's models work, so it's complicated to export to ORAS.

Maybe someone here knows a way:

I tried to mod the skytip's model, but when I use the Eon Flute the game crashes (froze on black screen). Files are in a>2>5>4. If someone knows a way to edit theme properly... :unsure:

I crudely cut the final BCH out of the bin with a hex editor, modded it and reinserted it and everything works fine for me. I just gave Brendan a spikey nose so I don't know how it will perform with more robust edits.

Edit: Tried it again and changed a texture this time, also extracting/reinserting everything exclusively using Ohana and once again no problems. So I don't know what you're doing exactly that's breaking it. :(

Thanks. It's the way I unpacked/repacked the .161 file which break it. The thing is I don't know how hexadecimal works, so It's complicated for me to cut the good part of the code. :/

Stop using garctool and garc unpacker. pk3DS does everything properly.

I ask here because no one seems to know... How to edit properly Pikachu's cheeks textures ? Why are they darker than the rest of the body ? :/
