i figured it out myself with the directx. i just want to fix my error when i open a bch ^^

Oh no, that's normal. Go into data\ui\model\chara\chara_hand and open the normal.bch. You have to do this everytime you open a fighter's model and texture. Open .mbn and .bch in the fighter's coX and hoX (replace X with desired costume slot number) and click the texture tab. You'll see the textures. Dump the one you want to edit with the "Export" button. After you edit the texture to your liking, select the texture in the texture tab and replace it with the "Import" button.

no i was bored and made a fake thing about it for fun but this is like a global param not a fighter param

No I have mine stored there and it works. Plus, it's fighter_param_common.bin, and there's a vanilla file there with the same name.

@Sasori Are you planning to make textures? I hope so! The Smash 3DS modding scene needs more than me and four active members right now. Nobody posts mods for the 3DS version anymore besides us.

If there is an active place to share them that also shows how to make a texture step by step with examples then I wouldn't mind contributing

Yeah, it's active. What do you mean by "step by step with examples"? Do you mean how to dump and import the textures with Ohana? Or do you mean editing the texture with GIMP ot Photoshop?
