Any update on this project? It's been a month already.
Im very sorry, I've been working but not at the speed I was hoping for. I'm always busy on school days and the only time I've been able to work on it is over the weekend. And even then, I have little time.

Don't worry. I'm still trying to do everything I can.

@RandomKid150 Are you going to translate the other sumikko gurashi games when you're done with this one?
Probably. It wasn't that hard to translate this one, so I'm sure it would be easy for the other two. :)

report back when it reaches 100% completion! I'll even stream on twitch :yaysp:
It's gonna be hard to 100% complete it because there are some files that I can't open that are critical to the games gameplay. I have the files attached on the 2nd page of this thread if you want to try and open them. :D

Is there anyone that could help me open and edit these files? I don't know how to open them. I'm sure they contain the item names and the panel names, which still need to be translated.
Based on what I've seen in the bins provided, you will need a plugin written specifically for this format. There seems to be a lot of data that isn't strings.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
