Actually ReiNAND supports B9S 1.2, there were a release made in this post
Right now there is just a lot of work going on behind the scenes for the next big update. So there hasn't been anything posted to the repos, until it's finished being tested.
Can you provide the source code for the release you linked?

That would be completely up to Crimson to release the source code as I actually don't have the source to that particular build.
Even then this isn't a completely finished build and the source will be posted once it's finished.

Under the terms of the GPLv3 you are required to provide the source code upon request for a compiled binary.
Jesus Christ. I can feel the anger coming off of you in this post.
No anger, I genuinely want to look at the source code.

You're senile, "A9LH" wasn't a CFW, you meant how that format was supported by a bunch of CFWs, but even towards the end, the number was dwindling. I'm pretty sure there was arguing about CFWs then, but yeah I guess it's more hostile now. At the same time now I believe there's some misunderstanding in debates, people feeling attacked when they are possibly not, just being too sensitive to when their points are argued against.

And who is "we" when it comes to that Nintendo bit? I don't really pirate games, and whatever stuff I do is centered around Pokemon, games I've legitimately bought, from Gen 3 to 7, so not everyone uses CFW for piracy means. The basic reason for CFW was Pokemon for me, backing up and restoring games, using plugins, patches, programs for writing into the games' memory, everything else is essentially a bonus. None of that really includes piracy.

And I don't have the source code. You are going to have to bring it up with Crimson. I am simply a tester and only provide my time, knowledge, and sometimes other files needed for upon request. The build posted a was preview build that I was requested to post to show that we both have a working 1.2 build and are indeed still alive.

I'm not attacking anyone, but this question has been brought up repeatedly in the Luma3DS thread, and the answer has always been the same. A lot of patches depend on Rosalina, so adding a toggle would have to provide some weird hybrid patching system that can both use legacy style patches and Rosalina style patches. That's such a terrible idea that would be so bad no matter how well it's implemented.

Since Rosalina resides in SYSTEM rather than APPLICATION memory it also has literally 0 affect on the amount of memory available for games or whatever. All bugs that were caused by it should have been ironed out. Any bugs that haven't been ironed out should be reported so they can be fixed.
Perhaps "attacking" wasn't the right word, though I certainly don't appreciate what I see as you (and others) having a hostile attitude for me asking a simple question. You responded to it, which I appreciate, and I'm sorry for not having read through the entirety of the Luma thread.

Again, all I did was a ask a question, and I'm a bit upset that my request can't be fulfilled. I'm sure that Rosalina's capabilities will improve in the near future, so that I will be able to get some real use out of it.

I'm not saying she in particular needs to, just that since the source code for the public binary has been requested the gpl requires them to provide the source of that specific build.
Is there any reason why you want the source code for that build and can't wait until the official release?

I've explained, Aurora has explained, and TuxSH have explained why this is infeasible and won't be implemented. Rosalina doesn't negatively affect anything when not used, and only improves the patching methods. Previous ones were hacky and Rosalina fixes this. Rosalina also gives a standard, sane homebrew environment. Something lacking with *hax

It wouldn't be infeasible to disable the menu though, would it? Just a question, I assume this is what at least what some of the people are asking for when they say "disable Rosalina".

Of course, anyone wanting to disable the whole thing are always free to fork the legacy branch and continue it themselves, I suppose.

I don't particularly need one, the GPL is explicit.

I suppose that's not unreasonable.

I actually took the initiative to Google this, remembering this was explained in detail.

Then you are barking up the tester. I am simply the messenger and only posted what I had. I suggest directly contacting him for the source to see if he still has the very same source for that build.
