i dont use twitter, been really busy the last three weeks from morning to night too and google offered zero help alongside the store people
I don't either, but I found that fairly quickly by using Google. You may have used the wrong search query or something. I believe Wikipedia even listed the release date, which is where I usually go when I want to know when a game's release date is.

and Nin made a game trailer that you could download with 3ds that showcased the game and gave the September 15 release date

I'd advise against playing the game, if it does get leaked, before release date. u can almost assure a ban. u may be able to get around that with the "incognito" method of godmode9 though, but I still wouldn't risk it.

Do you know anything about what you're advising people about, or are you just making assumptions?
Considering Nintendo had been known to ban people for playing leaked/early releases? It's far from an assumption. You must be new to the scene, or you'd know this.

a lot of people were banned for playing pokemon early. fyi, the system records games played and date played. that's y I mentioned icognito mode. if u feel safe, then by all means play the game early.

isn't that example enough? Nintendo has been known to do it. like I said, play the game early if u want. I won't be risking my system.

like I said, the system records the date played. that information is sent to Nintendo the moment u sign in. and, again, that's y I mentioned incognito mode. that file is the database that records games played and their play date. staying offline means nothing to that file.

edit: btw, now looks who's making assumptions.

If you are paranoid about that, just change the date on your 3DS to next week and avoid activating the wireless.

I gave u an example yet u don't accept it. they haven't started. it has happened. you are asking others to risk their systems based on the assumptions you've made when I've given you a clear example of when it's happened. thousands were banned for pokemon. do u really think Nintendo will just ignore people playing their games early now? risk it yourself, don't ask others to risk theirs.

I installed Pokémon Moon when it leaked around 10 days before release. I played more than 6 hours each day before the release, Wi-Fi completely ON. I wasn't banned.

I didn't use any of the online features, of course. But WiFi was completely ON.

After the release date, I started playing the online features of the game without any problem.

Edit: Do you have any WiFi data streaming catcher log or anything like that to support what you say about the game log being sent to Nintendo?

And how would they detect you used the game before release if you modify the 3DS date before playing it and avoid activating the Wi-Fi?

Well, on this same train of thought, how would they risk to ban innocent people, when it is possible that your 3DS was out of battery or something and the date ended being wrong on it, so you played the game say next month and it stored the wrong system date in the log file.

You know that can happen? Then the log file with a wrong usage date will be sent to Nintendo, even though you used your own game bought after release. They can't ban you based on the log file because of that, it is unreliable.

this is all speculation. no one knows what Nintendo looks for. incognito mode is probably your safest bet. I was merely responding to a question about whether or not Nintendo banned you for playing early. Nintendo has publicly acknowledged that they have banned people for playing pokemon early. you can google it. maybe some people were banned for no reason, but the bannings did in fact happen.

do you always feel the need to pick fights. you made the assumption you won't be banned.

edit: btw, speculation is when you have little to no information. I gave you an example of when it's happened. Nintendo even admitted it.
