Afaik the kexploit is up to 5.00, just that what we have publicly is 4.06.

there was mistake from the site, the exploit was patched on 4.06, not 4.07

So it will only works on 4.05 and below.

Looks like it's my typo. The article did say it's patched in 4.07 but think 4.06 was patched too, just that he has no 4.06 to verify that.
