Hacking Can any FW currently use a9lh?

So I plan to gift my old 3DS to my Niece since I am banned and plan to buy a New 2DS XL, so if it comes with new FW, can it still use a9lh? (Or was it bootstrap?) To long ago :X

It depends on the FW how easy it is to install B9S(as mentioned below, A9LH is outdated). It will work on any system. Always go here for quick answers -> 3DS Guide

As said by both above, yes, the newer and more updated b9s is compatible with all firmwares, but the key part is it isn't free on firmwares above 11.3. For 11.4 and above, a compatible flashcart is required, which costs around 20 dollars. A second modded 3ds can work too, or soldering in a hardond, but both of those methods are arguably more expensive and complex.

On what the New2DS usaly come? So can I use the old 3DS XL (I still have) to B9h the New2DS XL if he is on 11.3 or above?

11.4 is the lowest it comes on. Most 3ds consoles come on 11.4 nowadays if they're brand new. You're already paying $150, you should just invest the other 20, which cannot be patched by the way.

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
