Well this is good news because it shows that kernel access can happen on "any firmware" right now, and I'm sure a bunch of people, or at least some, will be working on a free solution (think Gateway, and then the others, using the same exploit).

What's your stance on CEMU?

This team has been around for a while. They're known to have some level of quality and knowing them, it'll be hardware related. So, yeah. Not surprised.

Sweet! I feel this will be a software-based solution (meaning, like, no hardmodding required. Discounting dongles and shit) so I'm hopeful that a "Gateway -> "free devs" thing will follow suit.

This is very interesting. As everyone is saying, knowing Team Xecutor, it will not be free. Everything they do tends to cost money, but just like with the 3DS, eventually you will be able to do everything for free.

60-80 dlls.
Gateway was around 60 I believe, and Sky3DS is around 60 to 80 depending on the version I think.

Btw, how trustworthy are these guys?
I am not familiar at all with Xbox hacks, which is where I assume these guys are coming from.

It's nice to see things are speeding up, hopefully 2018 will be a nice year for Switch Homebrew.

The 3ds hardmod was extremely easy. Lets wait and see how the Switch turns out.
