If you have Amazon Prime and a Twitch account, you might be interested to know that Amazon/Twitch are offering a lineup of free games every day of the month starting today, leading up to Amazon's Prime Day 2018. So long as you claim the games on the days that they're available, you'll be able to keep them permanently. Major Twitch streamers will also be playing the games to show specific ones off, on the days you can claim them. As for what role Twitch will have regarding Prime Day itself, everything on the Twitch Store will be half off. The list of games offered are as followed:

  • 2-4 July — Pillars of Eternity
  • 3-9 July — Q.U.B.E. 2
  • 3 July – 2 August — SNK Bundle featuring Metal Slug 3, The Last Blade, and Twinkle Star Sprites
  • 4-10 July — Battle Chef Brigade
  • 5-11 July — Manual Samuel
  • 6-12 July — GoNNER
  • 7-13 July — Next Up Hero
  • 8-14 July — Uurnong Uurnlimited
  • 9-15 July — Hue
  • 10-16 July — Deponia Doomsday
  • 11-17 July — Observer

Q.U.B.E. 2 was great, Broken Age was also great. The Bridge was excellent, and the rest were either limited-time free on humble bundle or just bad.
Still jelly though.
(is it possible to gift twitch prime rewards?)

Erm...to me "having amazon prime" doesn't exactly count as free. I installed it on my tablet at one time, also because it had a few free games (one of the sonic games, IIRC). After that, I got daily messages with deals I didn't care about.

Understandable, but not what I signed up for. So I uninstalled amazon prime...and immediately found that the few games specifically requested to reinstall it to work.

That said: there are some great indie games among the bunch (wtf...pillars of eternity???). The only game I know that's terrible is gonner...IMHO*, of course.

*for some reason the majority of steam reviewers disagree with me. But that doesn't make gonner anything but a badly drawn roguelike platformer

There's some pretty good game to be honest. I'm thinking about Pillars of Eternity, Q.U.B.E 2, the snk bundle, Battle Chef Brigade, Deponia Doomday, Observer, Tacoma, Brutal Legend, Tyranny, Broken Age and Serial Cleaner.
I haven't really played them but they got some good review.

Personally I'm glad, there's some game I pretty much wanted there :) (I'm thinking about Battle Chef Brigade and Tyranny especially)
