Yesterday, we released SX OS v2.7 beta and you guys were quick (as always) to give us some decent feedback.
SXOS-271.jpg

TX thanks everyone for their detailed feedback with their v2.7 release, and now have fixed the reported problems and released v2.7.1:
Today, we are back with SX OS v2.7.1 beta. This small bugfix release addresses two important issues:
  • Older games work again
Some older games failed to boot up on firmware 8. This has been resolved and you should be able to enjoy your full library of games again!
  • Booting Original Firmware (OFW) works again
It appears we had a regression with booting original firmware from the SX OS boot menu. We investigated the issue and this should work correctly now.
That's all for this release; be sure to back regularly for more updates!

Just as a joke (Nothing against TX), I bet my friend 5 U.S. dollars that either SXOS 2.8 or 2.7.1 was going to be released <48 after 2.7 came out. Easiest 5 dollars I ever made. (Well maybe not literally, but it was extraordinarily easy).

If I delete a non-working NSP game then re-install it, it works, but its going to take forever to redownload all of those NSPs, their latest updates and any DLC.

Anyone else unable to run NSPs installed prior to 2.7?

looks like we need 2.7.3 - they need like a standardized testing process so each of these updates can test out all possible scenarios (hdd loading, xci, nsp with updates, old games, new games, etc).

@SylverReZ, 1) except final fantasy 16. 2) why would I have a console's whole catalogue if most of the games are either shovelware or terrible games?
