Super Smash Bros. Ultimate livestream scheduled for June 22, details new ARMS fighter

Along with the two Pokémon-focused livestreams airing this month, Nintendo has announced another livestream focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Airing on June 22nd at 7am PT/10am ET, and lasting approximately 35 minutes, it will give an in-depth look at the new fighter from the ARMS franchise that will be joining as DLC. In a follow-up Tweet, Nintendo confirmed that there will be no new fighter announcements during the stream. They did not mention, however, if there may be more details regarding upcoming amiibo figures, as some of the previous DLC fighter livestreams have featured.

Finally we can get this over and done with and move on to more interesting DLC fighters.

Hopefully...but then again, the reason the leakers weren't leaking information about characters ahead of time with both Byleth and whichever ARMS character we're getting here is because the characters were first party.

Arms must be bigger in Japan than the US - no one ever talks about this game here
Can't find a by region breakdown of sales. What I did find out is apparently its the 20th highest selling game on the Switch. It also appears it sold rather high numbers in Australia and the United Kingdom

Hope it's ribbon girl, but I still think it will be Spring Man, wouldn't make that much sense otherwise. I can see Spring Man and Ribbon Girl as a costume.

I don't think it will be a "lame" character as some say, but it's still weird that they are finally releasing an ARMS character just now, it's been a while since they have abandoned the game. It's a bummer cuz the game is really damn good. It's not about gimmicks, you can have fun with motion controls if you want cuz it's fluid enough and playable, but playing it with a regular controller is better and the game is still technical. It's just that I think that vsf players don't really like things that are TOO different + the marketing that emphasized too much on the motion controls, even forcing the motion controls in some tournaments, which wasn't a great idea imo.
Anyway, it's a great game

You think we might get another premium Mii costume? You know like Sans or Cuphead, looking like the genuine character and comes coupled with it's own song. It's an interesting question to consider that I don't see much speculation about at all. If it were to happen, you have to keep in mind that the proportions of the character would need to be in line with a Mii fighter. To that end, I think that this could be how Steve from Minecraft might appear in Smash, not as his own fighter, but instead as one of those premium Mii costumes. He's got the right proportions, and while I'm not interested in him as his own fighter, I do think he'd be a great fit as a Mii Sword Fighter.

Well, there are plenty of great (and popular) first-party characters to pick from who still aren't in Smash, such as Geno. Heck, I would've gladly taken even Waddle Dee over an ARMS character.

@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
