Can you people stop being such childish little brats and either shut up OR be neutral in order to appreciate the fact that promotions like these PAY FOR THE WEBSITE YOU USE FOR FREE? Just not post or be midly supportive. We need this kind of thing to keep GBATemp strong and guess what we don't need? A bunch of "hur hur who cars?".

Wondering where the profits would go to regarding sales. Seems a bit 2 much for my taste to use a person who died for the sake of profit and marketing a game by giving away limited editions branded with his name on it. If the music studio still owns Avicii as a brand wich most do for many years after the person itself dies, they could use his name and pictures that were taken by them back then for covers, commercials, magazines and so forth ( not personal pictures tho taken by himself ) and profit of aviici after his death as a brand but that would be utterly disgusting if so, seems something that idiot Jay station would do. Does anyone know if this is the case or if it's a project from the family itself to remember his legacy and if the profit goes to them or a charity partly ? Would really like to know because if it's for the family i will buy it just for the sake of him being a legend and support his family by doing so. I just really don't want to give money to a company profiting of him after he died.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
