The next addition to the Nintendo Switch Online classic games library will be the iconic Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It'll be landing on the service next week, on February 25th, for all NSO + Expansion Pack subscribers.

As of right now, there are 11 N64 titles available on the service, with the most recent addition being Banjo-Kazooie. Other games such as Mario Golf, Pokemon Snap, and F-Zero X are expected to hit the Expansion Pack as well, given the fact they were previously teased in a trailer by Nintendo.

Imagine paying 60$ to get one old game every couple of months and they run like shit when you get them. It's always morally ok to hack your Switch to get a better experience.

And yet, morons on Twitter still defend Nintendo's shitty N64 emulation saying "a Switch is not a PC" no kidding. But there's no excuse for how bad it is.

It's sad because they could be getting a better experience if they just hacked their Switch.

Exactly, it's not an issue of power, the Switch can definitely do it. Nintendo is using the 3DAS N64 emulator which, you know was only used for SM64.

The Wii could emulate N64 games, so it's def not the power. It's literally whatever Nintendo's doing that these games run like shit.

They also had a guy who would optimize games on a per-game basis for the emulators. Nintendo used 3DAS N64 for emulate all games this time around.

"where the moon is falling from the sky!" is not the most helpful story description, Nintendo. I know it's one of the most popular games, but still.

i'm honestly starting to rebuild my retro collection. although this time it's gonna be hacked consoles + flashcarts.

That's what I've been doing, let's see:

- N64 flashcart
- GBA flashcart
- Snes flashcart

Yup, I'm good, with my IPS modded GBA, Super NT and N64 with Retrotink.
Screw NSO.

When's Diddy Kong Racing!? :ninja:

(Don't hold out on us nintendo... microsoft... whoever responsible for this.)

Wait, did they fix the emulator yet? ANOTHER ZELDA GAME ON THAT BAD EMULATOR? :rofl2:
They patched it a while ago but I think from MVG's video on it, it still had rather awful fog.
