I'm having this exact same issue on HGSS. Platinum, Black and White seem to be working fine without any AP Patches. Meanwhile, Heartgold has the random crashes when going in and out of buildings. Tried multiple clean roms and manually patching.
I'm using an r4isdhc 2019.
Yeah, that's what I think as well. Since the downsampling doesn't map to an integer scale the sprites look wrong, that's my guess. I find odd that I don't see this complaint around more often if that's the case. Most of the time I find the reverse, people thinking that the original resolution...
This emulator is top notch. Upscaling and texture filtering works like magic and performance ir very impressive.
But I can't get sprite based 2D games to look crisp. Have played a ton with the settings but sprites and 2D elements always look a bit garbled.
I've noticed in layout editor that 4x...
I had a similar problem. I believe this happened due to you keeping the same config file after updating. At some point the driver structure was refactored and started conflicting with your configuration.
You should delete your config file and let Retroarch generate another one.
Could you consider another image hoster? Photobucket has been pretty shit for a couple years. I'm absolutely interested in this topic, since both of my right Joy con have a busted R button.
Does anyone have some pointers on how to install this and which I need from sneek/neek2o/portabilizemii and how to achieve it? All I see online is plenty of people having questions about the instalation, deprecated tutorials and tons of bricks.
I'd like to keep my Wii as functional as it...
Tried the official patch via Twilight Menu on my old 3DS, white screen. Tried the second patch, the ARM7 one and it boots but with no music. Sound effects still play. Is this the intended behaviour?
I'm having random crashes after updating to 1.8.5.
Mostly while using Flycast and Mupen plus next, Retroarch will crash randomly, most of the time after 1h of play, but it happened once after 20min of gameplay.
This has been a little inconsistent to me. Half the time OBS won't the detect the rtsp media source, the other half it will stream either mute video or only the audio with a black screen.
I've been using @Puremin0rez method.
Should I get the assets fron your repo or the oficial one? Pretty sure it's from yours, just checking.
Thanks so much for taking your time to test the game.
Done. Fixed quite a few issues I've been having but now PPSSPP crashes constantly. Persona 3 crashes consistenly when trying to load a save. Maverick Hunter X doesn't work at all.
I thought it had something to do with my save files, but they're located at
retroarch\cores\savefiles\PSP\SAVEDATA...
In High Performance overclock mode, the game stays 60 fps with some sound glitches until getting into a race. As soon as Lakitu starts the countdown, framerste seems to fluctuate between 29 and 40 fps.
I'd been using 1.7.7 for a while now, but decided to update the retroarch .nro to see what's changed.
Has the issue where using the Switch's native capture doesn't record any audio been fixed? My captures are still muted even after updating.
@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
