If you have a 4.1 NAND backup you can downgrade your Switch, and if you saved your fuses with AutoRCM you won't need a bootloader to boot into Horizon.
Yeah, once you have updated to 7.0.1 you will no longer have to skip the fuse check (you have to skip it only if the fuse count doesn't match with the installed firmware).
No, if you have a NAND backup you can restore it.
Get yourself a fairly large micro sd and follow this guide (just the Restore Nand Guide section).
Even if you have burnt fuses you can still restore your NAND, but once you have restored it you can't boot directly to ofw; you will have to skip...
If you had preserved your fuses (using AutoRCM) you could have downgraded and boot on stock firmware normally.
With fuses burnt you can still downgrade, but you always have to skip the fuse check with AutoRCM (so you will have to inject a payload everytime you want to boot on stock or cfw).
I never said that, I suggest you to read with more attention:
That suggested by me and ZachyCatGames was clearly an hypotetical (and paradoxical) situation to let you understand that AutoRCM can be considered a brick, since if a patched Switch haves a corrupted BOOT0 (again, very unlikely and...
Maybe your SD card is formatted in exfat (1.0.0 doesn't have exfat drivers), if so try to reformat to fat32 (you can use fat32format).
BTW even if you can't boot into cfw, Hekate should work with exfat formatted SD, so (if you haven't already done) before switch to fat32 I suggest you to make a...
AutoRCM is a permanent (but reversible) corruption of BOOT0 that force the console to enter into RCM. Now it can be enabled from Hekate, but at the beginning this could be achieved through a payload named briccmii (the name says it all); so, AutoRCM can be considered a "soft brick".
If for...
Hi guys, there's a way to totally disable the hekate bootlogo?
I read on Hekate CTCaer's github page that by setting up the hekate_ipl.ini with "bootwait=0" should disable the bootlogo, but it appears anyway for a fraction of a second.
Oh, thanks for the clarification ^_^
I never used Atmosphere on lower firmwares, so I didn't know that actually it haves a boot logo
EDIT:
Awesome, I hoped it was possible :D
it's just the BCT.ini string I was looking for (with no luck until now).
Thank you ^_^
Hi guys, I have a question: can I set a custom boot logo when Atmosphere is launched through fusee-primary.bin?
When I launch Atmosphere through fusee-primary.bin I only see a black screen with logs (loading stage 2 and kips).
I searched on Google, but I only found this page.
According to that...
NAND restore will certainly solve the problem, maybe the firmware files you used with ChoiDujourNX are bad or corrupted (if you obtained the .nca files from the web, always check them with an .md5 checker and the usually provided .md5 hash).
If you've preserved your fuses (using hekate and...
Hi guys, I encountered a critical bug in one God of War quest.
The quest name is Fafnir's Hoard, I should use the Fafnir Stone that Sindri gave me to proceed (even the compass points to the the pedestal) , but I have 0 Fafnir Stones into the inventory (it's a known bug).
Is there a cheat that...
I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me.
I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.
