Homebrew RELEASE Open source horizon nand-dumper

    > Without source > Without > source You are aware that the attached file is literally called "source.zip", contains one file, "main.c", and that is literally the source, right...? It's a simple tool, a port of the Pegaswitch NAND dump code to C from the looks of it. I can understand why...

Hacking Discussion Atmosphère nos bootable from fusee

You've learned a valuable lesson. If somebody asks you to compile something for them, tell them no, because for the most part, if someone can't compile it themselves, they shouldn't be running it :)

    Homebrew RELEASE ReiNX Toolkit

Both reboot and shutdown (If it's using the same code as my kip) will trigger RCM with AutoRCM enabled.

    TX and GBATemp

Again though, why does that warrant a new thread, when every other project gets a single thread? I've even seen new version threads get merged into the main discussion thread for projects, but never for these SXOS posts.

    TX and GBATemp

Actually, if you notice, the most vocal "off-topic" discussion about TX breaking licenses and stealing code tends to happen at the beginning of these new SXOS threads, then calms down. Of course, because there's a new thread for every release, it gets brought up again and again. If the SXOS...

Hacking TX Announces SX OS v1.9 with more v6.0 support and 'Update SX OS' feature via Switch

All the criticism of it being stolen tends to get deleted as off topic anyways :)

Hacking TX Announces SX OS v1.9 with more v6.0 support and 'Update SX OS' feature via Switch

If this were news, should it not be posted here? https://gbatemp.net/forums/user-submitted-news.156/ > There's a whole difference between a news post and a project version release. This is just a version update, the third in 4 days for this one project. There's nothing groundbreaking in this...

Hacking TX Announces SX OS v1.9 with more v6.0 support and 'Update SX OS' feature via Switch

So should we start posting new topics for all homebrew project version releases, instead of using the "megathreads" that are currently in use? That sounds like a terribad idea :)

Hacking TX Announces SX OS v1.9 with more v6.0 support and 'Update SX OS' feature via Switch

@Costello Why does this need a third topic in almost as many days? Should SXOS not just have one megathread like: All other CFW, all other homebrew, all other projects? This seems a little excessive to have a new topic for every single minor revision that is applied to SXOS

Hacking Team-Xecuter Announces SX OS v1.7 with Switch Firmware v6.0 compatibility

Is it really future proof if it requires the open source scene to do most/all of their work for the next firmware versions for them? I mean, they got the 6.0.0 files from the CDN, congrats, we've had access to those for a few days now too (Since Nintendo posted them on the CDN). They're also...

What would be considered as a copyright violation for open source code?

Jesus christ. OPEN A GOD DAMN ISSUE ON THE PROJECT. All you are doing is creating drama for no reason, and slandering a project that a group of people are working hard on.

Just one correction, the ReiNX bootloader is not Hekate :)

Hacking RELEASE [Official] ReiNX thread [DEAD]

The sig patches are not something that "runs", they are memory patches applied during boot, and only "run" when the code they patch is run.

Hacking Discussion Consoles brick, learn how to handle it!

@evilsperm Just wanted to say thank you for digging into this, and concluding that the brick wasn't caused by any specific CFW :)
