Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

LOL... I know the resistors need to be used on the install. I was asking, as you chimed in to my quoted question to another member, regarding using the 100 ohm on the dat0 and CLK. My question was specifically for the OLED because its a little different and requires the dat0 adapter. But, it...

Apologies, yes, I didn't add the word adapter for the dat0. So, my even with out a dat0 adapter its advised to use 100 ohm resistor?

As the dat0 is only for OLED, do you use the 100 ohm resistor for the v1, v2 and lite as well?

are you bridging the 47R resistors for the DAT0 and CMD whed you do these OLEDs? are you bridging the 47R resistors for the DAT0 and CMD whed you do your OLED Pico mods? Or would it be better to just order stronger resistors and use those... if so what rating do you use or suggest?

apologies, yes, the centimeter is about .4 inches and i can use that with some kapton tape and I figured it was celcius. Is there any reason you wouldn't use a higher air flow speed? Thanks again!

I bought a box of broken GBA Advance SPs, xboxes and it came with the pokeball 2ds XL -- I couldn't find where on the board a capacitor went bad and before spending who knows how many hours troubleshooting, I called Ninty, gave a "reasonable estimated time of when I purchased it" and the...

The fan replacement is very, very easy BUT if you don't comfortable doing it yourself think of a few scenarios: 1. is your switch soft modded? then send it in. why? Nintendo uses 3rd party labor for repairs, they won't care to do swap out parts like the CPU -- they just want to do the repair...

is 36awg too thick for the OLED?

One centimeter? that's very skinny, like one-tenth of an inch. You said your largets nozzle, so, I'm guessing more around a half inch? Thanks for replying, I'll be trying this today.

Picofly (RP2040) OLED getting error Failed to init eMMC. But with HWFLY working fine.

Hi, I saw that you've used RP2040 often -- what temperature hot air (celcius) did you use to remove the buttons and usbc port from the picofly?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

any suggestions for removal of the buttons and usbc port using hot air -- i'm using Celcius temp? I had a horrible time trying to get the buttons and usbc port off the 2040 zero -- for the buttons they finally came off at 280 and the usbc at 300 -- I think I fubar - ed the board though! I bought...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

So I read the guide but I'm not using method w/ mosfet; i'm using the flex cable. because the cpu is the same and I'm not using HWLFLY can I just use a V2 ribbon? The Version 3 ribbon just seems to arc over to reach the HWLFY, I'm obviously team RP2040, and I'm just going to solder to the pins...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

I think I flashed to picofly correctly. To do a quick check to see if anything popped up on my PC screen after my flashing attempt I replugged the picofly into my PC. After replugging the picofly into the PC, The blue light came on and then it began blinking yellow -- it blinked yellow six times...
