Next time you use the DNS, press +/- (for "Information") and view the URL - we don't tend to share it publically since it's not styled too well across all PCs, but it is doable! And you're right, an app like that would be pretty cool although I'm not sure who would do it.
@crc32 already explained a little, but the 4TU (shorthand for ForTheUsers, you can find our website here: https://fortheusers.org/) Dashboard is the name for the page that is used for the SwitchBru DNS (more info: https://switchbru.com/dns/) and would be really beneficial for other pages to use...
Lol just because it's based on Nintendo's own account creation. It will also allow developers to access users' gender in the future through the OAuth, though.
Yeah that's correct! It opens the DNS any time you try to connect to the internet actually, as it always does a connection test first. It does the same when launching a game and playing online, trying to update a game, etc.
Yeah it'll be staying up. The only real difference for us is that I took the instructions for how to do it off of the DNS considering most people can use it easily now (including me! I'm so happy there's an app!).
To everyone who can use the YouTube app, thanks for using SwitchTube!! <3
Lol. The SwitchBru DNS runs the web browser fine with any games open. I'm not sure you thought this through or actually tried it, considering there is a fully functional browser built in - even if there's no "easy" way to access it or tabs. It runs fine.
I wish they'd bring out some cool new features instead of mostly bug fixes, as someone who hasn't used homebrew yet. I guess this is what Nintendo does hehe, I shouldn't complain too much.
That is the way to change the resolution, sorry I didn't see it earlier but glad you found it! I think it's capped at 720p as that's as high as the browser in general goes. Hope that helps.
Guys, have a read of my comment here, I think many people are misunderstanding how this works. https://www.reddit.com/r/SwitchHaxing/comments/9fdm3q/nintendo_removing_ability_to_unlink_nintendo/e5vwbr4/
I'm glad you enjoy it!! There's some plans for "major" changes but nothing's set in stone or any release dates as of yet, but we'll let you guys know on the news panel as we progress!
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
