Hacking Emulation Gaming Homebrew ROM Hack Some issues with emulation in wiiflow

I've noticed the same issues with RA NeoGeo-Hex core, i can't load metal slug 1. I've quadruple checked everything and I think it has something to do with the way the neogeo core works when running from wiiflow as it works fine when launched from homebrew channel (ie mslug.zip will load when...

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

Thanks for the info. I was hoping this would be a single front end solution, but i guess it's better to just use the stand alone HEXAECO for neogeo games. The Hex neogeo core does work surprisingly great with overlay support.

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

For some reason metal slug 1 and metal slugX crash when using the HEX FBA neo core launched through wiiflow. It works fine using the same core launched from homebrew (downloaded from here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-hexaeco-emulators.600834/). The .dol files appear to be identical.

This is very useful information and would be great if it was added to the instructions. Ie. "How to change default emulator cores"

Thank you that worked! Has anyone else noticed that overlays (ie. scan lines) don't seem to work anymore?

Hi, sorry for the noob question, but how do you switch to different cores? For example i see all these cores in the readme file: It is picking FCEUmm by default Is there an easy way to switch to a different NES core (Nestopia)? Thanks.
