Turns out all this time I thought updating your CFW meant updating Atmosphere. I read in a couple sites that using daybreak was just an option to update your OFW without burning efuses, and since I don't care about downgrading I never read more about it.

I've had my switch modded for like 2 years, I have been updating in this order almost every time:
hekate -> atmosphere and fusee -> sigpatches -> OFW through Nintendo's servers on OFW (don't care for efuses)

No, the replacement battery is an alternative one, I haven't been able to find original ones in my country (and original ones are too expensive to import due to taxes).
I might be able to borrow another 3ds by next week. I don't have a multimeter to check the battery either. At least I have until March to send it back for free.
