Hacking Feedback Some games just don't want to boot up! Am I updating wrong

I've had my switch modded for like 2 years, I have been updating in this order almost every time:
hekate -> atmosphere and fusee -> sigpatches -> OFW through Nintendo's servers on OFW (don't care for efuses)

I'm currently on atmosphere 1.7.0 and hekate 6.1.1 and I'm about to update OFW from 17.0.1 to 18.0.0. Now on my atmosphere system settings screen I can read "Current version: 14.1.2" which I don't know if it's correct or not. I can run almost every recent game (even Princess Peach) with no issues, except for Sea of Stars, Sonic Origins Plus, Mario Wonder (off the top of my head), which I've downloaded from several sources to no avail. Am I doing anything wrong?

That's what I'm asking. The firmware (CFW) is 14.1.2, but my OFW is 17.0.1. How should I update then?

looks like your getting confused between emunand and sysnand. the pic you posted is you on your emunand

Turns out all this time I thought updating your CFW meant updating Atmosphere. I read in a couple sites that using daybreak was just an option to update your OFW without burning efuses, and since I don't care about downgrading I never read more about it.
