No idea. Have you also updated the Twilight Menu for the sake of GBARunner3? Twilight Menu is shipped with GBARunner2 bundled, so maybe they updated the binary lately? See the official changelog.
A few posts earlier, you encountered issues running version 3 due to a missing BIOS. You added the BIOS file afterwards. This implies that previously, you hadn't used that BIOS (you were using the built-in one). So, I suspect that the reason for...
It might be the BIOS file. You didn't use it before testing GBARunner3 and added it because version 3 didn't start without it. Now, regardless of whether you use version 2 or 3, you still use that BIOS file. If you don't provide the BIOS file...
Sorry, but I have no idea. I just compiled the binary from sources :). It might be an issue specific to the game you're running. You can report it on Github: https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner3/issues.
Bear in mind that v3 isn't considered...
@Modular511
Here's the compiled GBARunner3. It's a development build, rev 2fa4211.
Unzip the Gbarunner.nds file
Put it under the sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/emulators/ dir
Go to sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/settings.ini and set GBARUNNER3_TEST = 1
It exists, It's in development, TwilightMenu already supports it but it doesn't include the binary. You need to provide it on your own and set the GBARUNNER3_TEST=1 flag in the config.
Thanks, that sounds good. If that's true then it would mean that the latency of the DSi screen mod is between GBA SP and IPS (according to this test: https://www.retrorgb.com/comparing-lag-and-ghosting-for-every-gba-handheld.html)
I'm trying to compile GBARunner3, but compilation fails with these being the last messages I see in the console:
ArmDtcm.o: in function `memu_armDispatchTable':
(.dtcm+0x8): relocation truncated to fit: R_ARM_ABS16 against symbol...
It's an Android phone without a cellular modem, so it can do whatever a regular Android phone can do... well, a pretty old Android phone because it has a Qualcomm 662 SoC.
The most popular GBA screen mod (the 9380 IPS kit) is known for input lag – it adds 3 frames of delay (around 50ms) compared to the original screen. I recently learned about a less popular Funnyplaying ITA TFT screen mod, which uses an original...
Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."
