Hacking Hardware Picofly on "old" Samsung EMMC glitching fails sometimes

in case the firmware fails to boot, it rolls back to the previous firmware, long white looks like it. weird. how about muuuch longer timeout for every glitch attempt? (hard to tell the real reason without logical analyzer. it is probably easier to deal with this rare issue)

slight adjustments to the boot waiting code

Erista always boots faster, different algorithm. You can try booting Mariko multiple times (like 20), the more you start the more statistics the chip has. If you have Toshiba eMMC, you can replace it with a Samsung one, they are commonly faster

There are dozens of Chinese trying to be better and sell higher, absolutely no such thing as "the only amazing Hwfly team". For example, some mysterious guy have asked me to change the "picofly" picture with a rocket one for a really high price. Although I refused to do that (what a dumb thing)...

the update finishes only on the successful glitch. otherwise it reverts back automatically. at least in my firmwares

such thin mosfet wiring cannot provide reliable glitch current. replace them with thicker ones

this means you have connected the 3.3v wire to the wrong position (direct battery 4.2v). the caps are pretty similar

oh, it's really simple - I had only 47 and 210 ohm resistors. The 47 ones worked, and the 210 ones didn't. If 100 ones work better for you, use them

Not caps. Usually 3.3v regulator dies when working with external power, that is why it is recommended to remove it 1694248277 ok, removed the SRAM powerdown, pls try it

yes, it's a simple adjustment of the hwfly toolbox. here are all the changes
