Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Each arcade emulator requires a specific romset version. Went to load content and it played.

They work here. 1.7.9 nightly. I tried them on fb-neo (~30fps), fba2012(mid 30s), and mame2003plus (50fps). They run too slow so I don't play them. Mame2000 might be playable but I won't resort to using such outdated emulation.

HOWTO: Replace PAL Tekken 3 with NTSC on PSClassic

Excellent. I've replaced most games and added a few more. I made sure the total filesize = the original total. I tried Gex 2 and controls don't work. I guess analog games are a no go.

    Homebrew [Release] TemperPCE for 3DS

If you put the syscard3.pce file in the correct folder the readme specifies, then nothing else is required. The emulator can only display .cue files so you''ll need one for each game.

Snes9x2005 now runs fullspeed on a n3ds for most games except for special chip games. Genesis Plus GX = fullspeed (it wasn't before). CD games dip to 57-58fps. PCSX still sucks. FBA neogeo = still crashes with metal slug 5.

    Homebrew [Release] TemperPCE for 3DS

It's basically a completely different game. They might share some music, enemies, bosses, but levels can be quite different. No multiple paths. No cutscenes. No Maria. The CD music is amazing.

    Homebrew [Release] TemperPCE for 3DS

There is no "special" way to make Dracula X work in Temper. If it's properly patched, it'll work on any emulator. I used alcohol 52% (free) to load the iso\cue into a virtual drive, rip that with turborip (included with patcher), patch the game, and used alcohol again to make a bin\cue (I used...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

I got a reply from one of the retroarch devs saying the 3ds port "needs developers". Which explains why the 3ds port isn't getting any love.

Software RetroArch updated to 1.7.4, many new features added

syscard3.pce just like any other time. It has not changed in this version. I don't know the location where it goes on the pc version since I use mednafen-pce on my pi3b+.

    Homebrew Playstaion Games on o3ds

On my pi2, the standalone pcsx is faster than the retroarch version. Maybe someone can port that version someday. Even then, a n3ds will be required.

Loads fine here. Just as slow as before. ~40fps. Why bother? Use the temper port by bubble2k16 instead.

Software RetroArch updated to 1.7.4, many new features added

If you can't wait for the retropie devs to add it, it's usually by editing retroarch.sh in the retropie-setup folder and replacing the part where it says 1.7.3 with 1.7.4. Then you build from source from retropie-setup. I tried now but I'm having crashes when it tries to build. I'll have to wait.

It doesn't matter how good and accurate GX is when a n3ds has framedrops every once in a while or big constant drops as I said in battlemania 2. That's why I'll stick to picodrive. It's not a preference, it's my only choice to play games at fullspeed. Also, even if a game runs fullspeed on...

Uh-oh: Trump Googled himself, and now he wants Google searches censored/regulated

He's being sued so let the courts decide that. The fact a few douchebags in silicon valley got together to determine his fate should be a red flag for all of us. All of these companies are well within their rights, that's why we need some sort of internet bill of rights.
