Hacking EZ-FLASH Junior Stuck at Loading Screen

I think the DMG is particuarly vulnerable to low battery. I've been messing about with mine, and with an IPS screen in and nothing else changed, the EZ Flash Jr throws a bit of a wobbly when the batteries are still around 80% according to the OSD. Worked fine while the batteries were fresh...

    yellowing, ageing consoles. SNES-other

It's really hard to say. The front panel in Super Famicoms definitely doesn't seem to be from the from batch of plastics as the rest of the console though. the Super Famicom I have has the same problem, but in reverse. The botton is slightly yellowed, the top is brown and really brittle and the...

New: *Beta* Wario Ware Inc. (U)

Hmm, something about this rom release sets of my internal "weasel alarm". This definately a legit beta? The descriptions given of it's flaws makes it sound a bit too much like the numerous faked "Sonic Beta's" for comfort. No sooner said than done...

New: 1282 - Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon (U)

The Jediknight games, the X-wing ones, the original - and Sega - Star Wars arcade games, Star Wars Episode 1 racer... All were quite good, as I recall.

New: 1282 - Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon (U)

Nah, you CAN do a fast action game - the problem sthey've tried to make it too fancy dan, like a GBA Rogue Squadron, when what was needed was something like the "3d" sections in Super Star Wars. NOOOOooooo, everyone has forgotten how to make decent 2D games!

New: 1277 - Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga (U)

Europe got Mario Kart Double Dash first as well, but only by a day or so. Which is a big difference. Usually when a European release is last, it takes months.

    New: 1161 - Boktai (U)

I can't believe how many people seem to be willling to ruin the game for themselves this way. This is SO a game that needs the Solar Sensor to be played and enjoyed fully. If that means I fork out for a real cart, then so be it.

    New: 1136 - Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (J)

It's notable because it's NOT a turn based RPG, like the Final Fantasy games, or like Golden Sun. Instead, it controls more like a Zelda game.

    New: 1136 - Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (J)

I only played it enough to confirm that it has the old Final Fantasy Adventure music. Now that I know it does, I'm happy to wait for an English version.

Well, thats just f*cking typical. I finally find a copy for the SNES the other day, and then it gets released on GBA. Typical.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
