    I want a repro cartridge of Super Metroid that looks 100% identical to an original copy except it has the among us mod patched into it and then I want to pass it on to someone else and act like it's a perfectly normal super metroid cartridge

    Some AliExpress shops take requests for repro carts and are fairly cheap. You could probably have that for like $20. Just reach out to one of the repro sellers and give them the cart sticker image and rom.

    god a proper vr version of the metroid prime games would be so sick i hope it happens one day, officially or (more likely) not

    Probably LABO update in the future?
    Nintendo would be wasting a huge experimental opportunity.

    While the switch is nowhere near as powerful for life like graphics, Prime Remastered would be perfect to test consumer enthusiasm/use for a proper VR Metroid.

    Crazy that Nintendo shadowdropped a remaster of Metroid Prime, made it only $40 instead of the usual $60, and it has waaaay more effort put into it than most of their other ports.

    It's rumoured it's been completed for years but Nintendo was sitting on it. If that's true the team has had an absurd amount of time to polish and tune the game.

    Looks like Tears of the Kingdom is gonna be $70. A lot of places stopped taking preorders for $60 and the eShop briefly said $70. In unrelated news, guess I'm pirating Tears of the Kingdom.

    I guess i can get that prices need to go up because of inflation. Still, I think they should've waited till their next console to do it, since it probably isn't too far off anyway and it'd be less jarring. Plus it's not like Nintendo desperately needs the extra money, they're loaded plus everyone knows TotK will sell well.

    Other consoles increased prices a while ago, I think it was inevitable

    And Nintendo may need money depending on how bad switch 2 flops

    In any case you can't really blame them for trying to hold onto some of the revenue inflation robbed from them

    I've actually been pleasantly surprised by forspoken. not anything super special or crazy but i'm enjoying it a lot more than most other people it seems. though to be fair i'd probably be a little less positive about it if i paid $70 for it lol

    Looks like Forspoken's launch is gonna be an unoptimized dumpster fire. Only reason I even know what this game is is because it came free with my gpu. i love how well AAA big budget game launches have been going as of late

    weirdly enough i've been finding myself missing cable tv lately. i liked the fact that i could just turn it on and already be watching something rather than have to scroll through clunky apps in hopes that the streaming service actually has the show i'm looking for. i think cable and streaming can complement each other nicely.

    Honestly same, I loved just being able to watch random episodes of Family Guy instead of streaming literally every single episode in order, and I'm sad I can't do that anymore

    apparently a blood moon can trigger in botw at literally any moment if the game's running out of memory. played this game for countless hours and just found out.

    @Dionicio3 Pretty sure that it's intended, I remember both seeing and purposely messing around with this back when I was interested in botw modding (on the Wii U anyways). To test it I just absolutely spam spawned Bokoblins and eventually a Blood Moon happened and deleted most of them.

    It's def an intended feature, if you look up "Panic blood moons" you'll find a good explanation as to why it happens. sadly i didn't capture it happening, but for me it happened at like 1AM the day after i had a regular blood moon

    finished frontiers 100%. still my goty. not perfect by any means, but the most fun i've had with a 2022 release and it shows a lot of promise for future games. sonic doesn't suck now :)
