    I dont know of any complications, but if you put retrogamefan's and pong's firmware on it and update with the latest dat's, you should be just fine .

    @lilbriansmom2010: I'm happy that you now got what you wanted. Here are my answers to your questions: -I don't know about 8 gb (it should be possible), but I have a 4 gb and it works fine -You should always have something of 0,5 gb at least free for game saves, so never put a card completely...

    They would be really smart if they set up something like iTunes. Buy a Nintendoshop-card in the nearest game store, fill in the code and download the game. No need for cardridges anymore, it will also cut the price. (shipping costs, hardware costs etc.)

    Maybe completely format the card to FAT32 and then re-install the firmware. If those games are all new games, I hope for you that your son is patient. It can take some time before these are fixed. It can also be helpful to give more specs, such as which card, firmware etc.

    I believe R4i uses a different save format then TTDSi. Maybe you can use this converter. But still, if you have the money, buy an acekard and get AKAIO 1.7. It is way better.

    @The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
