Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

That's fine and probably valid, but being able to access my album would be cool and I'm going to have to update eventually to run new cartridges and stuff. Information will be valid then, but I'll know it now. Is there a reason NOT to update?

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi all, I have some noob questions. I'm quite out of touch with the scene as i've been time limited lately. I have a switch on 6.2 (AMS 0.8.2) that runs fine. My fuse count is still that of a 3.0.2 console. I've been thinking of updating but just have no idea how to go about it. I load via...

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Thanks, re: 90dns. What I'm trying to do is swap from the cfw I've currently installed from the guide I linked, over to atmosphere's release (which I've packaged together from SDSetup) Thanks again for the reply.

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi all, I have a system on 5.1 having used ChoidujourNX to update from 3.0.2 (i didn't use NOGC though, like a fool, so my gamecard slot would be updated). I have AutoRCM active. I'm thinking of switching over from whatever i'm currently using (it's SDFiles using the Hekate boot loader, but...

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

I can confirm this. The guide I used on 3.0.2 to update to 5.1+ hah me create a nand backup on exfat, and switch over to fat32 for the next stages, then copy that sd card over to the exfat one after completion of update through choidujour. Everything was really easy.

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Have been following the scene loosely for a long time, but have several switch consoles and have just been playing legit games. Finally decided to have a look at some homebrew. Followed some guide a friend used, everything went ok and I've used choidujour to update to 6.1 from 3.0.2. After I...

Hacking Team Xecuter reveal info on upcoming Switch modchip

Sorry to argue semantics, but ReSwitched aren't releasing a mod chip. It's a soft(ware)mod, unless I've missed something major. This is a vast difference.

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

This was unrelated to CFW work, basically. He was looking for factory leftovers of pre-1.0.0 firmwares, and found a few that he didn't have and didn't know about, but this was a side project.

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Dude, i don't intend on coming across sassy, it's just tiring reading you guys asking this non stop. These people have jobs, and lives. This is a hobby, and a massive task/undertaking. It will be done when it's done. Could they give you an estimate? probably. But they won't and why would...

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Read the thread dude. it's written everywhere. There's no time frame set. It's a small team, and there's a LOT to do. it'll be done when it's done.

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Whilst i hear your opinions, unfortunately it doesn't matter what you consider ethical or unethical. Ktemkin did the work required to find the exploit, what they decide to do with their knowledge is up to them. If you want to develop and release an exploit, go right ahead. Regarding your...

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

The reason given for this is that Tegra x1 is not limited to Nintendo hardware, it's not a fully custom SoC, so this exploit would(and has been proven to) work on other tegra x1 based devices. From an ethical point of view, the hacker that would be most likely to release this (reswitched...

    Hacking r.i.p., GMMUHax

Look, while I agree with your sentiments and am not updating my consoles barring my main one, the same thing was permanently said about the 3ds all the way along. Where there is firmware, there is bugs. I'm not saying that the switch is necessarily the same, but throughout history there's been...
