Hacking Homebrew Misc Is there still no way to run CTGP nitro Via backup?

I read some posts from 4-5 years ago saying it was impossible to play CTGP Revolution without a real game disc, this is unfortunate for me as my copy of Mariokart Wii got scratched and i only have the backup.

is this still the case or has anyone figured out a workaround?

It is possible to play backups of any version prior to 1.03 but 1.02 is 10 years out of date. Using a modchip is the only workaround I can think of. You should be able to boot from riivolution with a burned disc.

There are other projects that allow you to play custom tracks from backups. Mario Kart Wii Deluxe is my favorite, and it even has online play.
