Hello.
Does anyone know how to fix those "washed out" colors by messing with the file "/3ds/open_agb_firm/config.ini", please?
It seems that, doing what is written in orange color, there's no improvement.
Why do the colors look off?
A: The default gamma settings are intended to make up for the washed out colors the 3DS LCD has. If they look weird to you, setting the outGamma setting to 2.2 might help.
The same games on mGBA seem much crispier and vivid.

that's just how graphics were made for the gba, they had to be made really bright to compensate for not having a backlight on the early models. Mgba probably does some postprocessing to remove that.

There are patches for some games e.g. the Mario Advance games that restore the more vibrant SNES colours.
