Do I need PSN Patch to disable syscalls or I can use Evilnat for that? If I try to sign in to PSN will Evilnat block the access? Does it disable syscalls on boot like PSN Patch's plugin?

yes, it disables syscalls iirc. the way to get them back is going to system update or I think there's an option in cfw tools over network.

I already went to "System Update" but didn't find a way to recover them. So, I no longer need PSN Patch since Cobra already automatically converts RAP to RIF?

yes, I think you just have to go to system update, not select an option. I haven't tested it myself, but it's mentioned in the readme for the firmware.

look in the information section of the release thread on psx-place. I guess both of these methods work. I had never heard of the first one, so it may be new. look at the second feature of cobra 8.3.

I already did but it didn't work. Maybe PSN Patch's plugin is causing a conflict. I'll remove it and try again to see if it works. I really hope Evilnat blocks PSN login from startup.

I meant to say it disables psn access on boot afaik. you have to disable syscalls manually to reenable access.

the vita is unlikely as is the psp. the ps4 or 5, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't sign in to either if you have pirated games on the hdd. I'm sure sony has upped their game with the ps5, just like what Nintendo did. it seems unlikely that such an oversight would remain uncorrected when sony's primary goal is to protect themselves and their customers.

I don't think the PS5 has been hacked yet.

btw, sony's disclaimer on hackerone actually mentions that. you're likely to be sued if an exploit is released for the latest firmware, because that damages sony and sony's customers a lot. if you had been there with the ps3, when it was first exploited on the latest firmware, it was a disaster. people banning others, changing their idps to all 0's to log back in with fuckpsn, people inflating their wallets, massive cheating, and more.

there is no cfw for the ps4. there is no coldboot exploit for it. no, the ps5 hasn't been exploited publicly yet, but that disclaimer applies to the ps4, 5, and any future console most likely.

yes, but the compatibility has issues. I think ps1 right now uses the medievil emulator, ps2 uses many but the most compatible are jakx and rogue galaxy's, ps3 must be done in linux, psp I'm not sure, but it might use the castlevania legacy emulator (this is the emulator for symphony of the night, which is actually the psp version instead of psx), and vita I haven't heard anything about. might be able to through linux. I've heard ps3 is pretty bad though, so I'd assume the vita would be as well. it's all pretty bad, and frustrating, since you're so restricted. you can also play saturn, which uses the cotton emulator.
