    Hopefully when you edit a message to remove its contents entirely it doesn't save the previous version anywhere...

    Can confirm, if you have something silly in the past you want erased just report and ask the mods, theyre very nice about it

    I'll report any messages that I want to delete that I didn't go over but I can guarantee what I already deleted was of no use to anyone. lol

    May be the case, but in general its more polite to request a delete rather than going out of your way to hide it
