    No it's not because the duration isn't mapped to the button state itself. It's handled by how the game interprets the duration and how it appies it to the game itself. The "held state" behaviour is not relevant to technical documentation or speedruns where button minimization is a key factor, because how games handle button duration is variable.

    Even if you were right, then a "half press" would be a "two thirds press" which is even stupider. lol
