This is my very first post ever. I've tried to research but i don't know enough to make sense of anything. So here is my situation as detailed as best as I know....
I have a wii, 4.3U soft modded. It was done by a friend years ago. When it was my main console....the usb loader gx worked....neo gamma, all the emulators worked....now I recently dug out my wii and the usb loader does not work and neither does neo gamma. I recently purchased mario party 9 and it asked for system update...so remembering i use to use neo gamma....I tried to open it with that. My screen went black and the wii mote was unresponsive for about 20 seconds. Then I was able to get buttons to light up but still no response. I checked a few forums and got enough info to try and load prii loader through my home brew and enable the block disc update option. As I went into my priiloader and it asked for an install/update, I clicked my + button....I then got a message saying "system menu not found....trucha signed? Aborting mission"
So now I'm scratching my head as I'm completely.new to this and have no idea where to start or anything. I realise it may he a completely stupid question but I don't know enough to understand alot of the terms or what any of it means.
I don't want downgrade my wii and loose.my emulators....I can live without the usb loader although it would be nice. I would just like to play games and not lose my soft mod or brick anything. If any more information is needed i can gladly find it on my wii to make things easier... Im just not sure where to go or what to look for.
