    So, with this new feature could it be possible to launch a game stored in SD or USB NAND using another NAND source as base for launch it ???... For example: - Game stored in SD NAND -> Select NAND base: original NAND (SD), USB NAND, Real NAND? That would be something AWESOME to do !!!

    I tried d2x-v6 but I have problems after installed it: - 40GB HDD 3.5" (with power supply): Not working / not recognized. - 20GB HDD 2.5" (laptop hard-drive): Not working / not recognized. - 16GB USB flash drive: Working fine. Is there a way (or some tool) to report the unsupported drives ?

    Hi again. I tested IOSes 56/57 into slot 249... none of them work with my hard-drives (not detected) ... also, I tested d2x-v6 with base 38 + slot 249 (for NAND emulation) and it worked flawlessly on a flash drive, but it didn't recognized my hard-drives again ... As said before, cios249...

    Thanks for the tutorial ... I was able to play Bit Trip using Hermes' cIOS but I'll give a try using the method you posted. It seems Waninkoko's rev21 solves the savegame problem... but it's buggy to work under it right now. See ya!

    Well, I had rev17b on slot 249. Then installed rev21 (IOS38 base) on the same slot and the games that worked are: Contra Rebirth, Bit Trip Runner and Dr. Mario RX (this one just let me access to the save/load screen). Other games like Adventure Island, Castlevania Rebirth or Doc Louis' Punch-Out...

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
