Gaming Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo Announced

Posted this morning on the Forum at BatmanArkhamAsylum.com: Full post can be read here: http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=91868 Man, it's gonna be a long week...though that gives me time to buy a long enough Ethernet cable.

Hacking *sigh* AK2i Kicks the Bucket

My daughter came to me saying her DS wasn't working, getting her to clarify that it's the cart, not the handheld itself. Tried it in my DS: No. Tried clearing off the SDHC to use fresh firmware: Had 4 .cc files, wouldn't let me erase them. Tried Panasonic SD Format: Wow, great little prog...

    Gaming New 360-Owner, Some Questions

I bought a 360 from a co-worker who got it last Xmas and rarely played it (apparently his girlfriend thought he was much more the gamer than he really is.) Came with LEGO Indy & Kungfu Panda and he also had GH: Aerosmith (which, based on his gamesaves, is the only game he played when he did play...

    Hacking TraumaHound's CycloDS Themes

With the release of my newest theme for the CycloDS I thought I'd do a little self-advertising and post some of my works: ***NEW*** Blood Bowl ***NEW*** Star Trek Communicator Steampunk Robot Simon CMK

    Hacking No DSi Displays?!

Since the DSi's release I've been looking for one to fool around with. I was in Hawaii on vacation when it was released so I hit up a local Gamestop thinking they'd have to have one out; nope (not to mention they also had EVERYTHING that was hanging on pegs locked up...I guess Ala Moana is a...

Hacking Showing the Clock & Calendar Days

I installed a few AK2 themes onto my new AK2i this evening and I can't get them to show the calendar days and the clock. The stock 3 themes that come with the firmware update all work just fine and I know the themes I installed have the clock & calendar elements (I've seen the previews and have...

Hacking NDSthemes.com Now Hosts Acekard Themes

Recently NDSthemes.com got an image overhaul (not to mention more than a few cool new features) as well as the addition of a section for Acekard themes. Click on over to see what's being submitted (quite a few existing themes for other carts have been converted in addition to brand new...

Misc Wii & Netgear WPN824 Connection Issue

I've tried the tips Nintendo & Netgear give to get my WPN824 running but nothing has worked for my Wii (and I have WPA2 set so no-go for my DS, but this I understand.) Any tips & tricks that can get me up and running? It works great with my netbook (using it right now for this post) and the Wii...

    Hacking iTouchDS Skins/Themes - A Few Questions

Saw a request posted at NDSthemes.com for an iTouchDS theme so I thought I'd look into it (it should be noted I don't actually have the card nor do I have access to one.) It took some digging as the folks at iTouchDS seem to be out-of-office (since October, no less) and don't offer files up on...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

  • Veho @ Veho:
    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
