Hacking SX OS v3.1.0 BETA released! Firmware 11.0 Support

To play Devils' Advocate isn't it a little strange that a company that isn't making ANY money has come out with an update? We know members got arrested, no resellers, no one is making money and yet out of the goodness of their heart they come out with an update? OK so let's say it is to protest...

Homebrew Discussion [HBG/SHOP] The new FreeShop for the Nintendo Switch [Discussion Thread]

Anyone who goes online w/ a modded switch risks the ban hammer. This is extremely stupid and at highest level of ban risk (i.e. installing pirated games).

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

Currently 9.0 NSPs (i.e. Luigi's Mansion UPD Update, RingFit UPD Update, Arcade Archives Shinobi NSP etc) won't decrypt, he is aware of it and working on a new build. It has nothing to do w/ dumping the 9.0 keys.

Hacking Jailbreaking PS3, dumping purchased PSN games

Thank you Ryccardo, now at least I am moving in the right direction. I was looking at YouTube and was more confused then where I started from. GBAtemp is the place to go, I should have figured that one out. That's exactly what I want to do, covert games to rap format. Just not sure how I do...

Hacking Jailbreaking PS3, dumping purchased PSN games

I just purchased a Slim PS3 CECH-2501B that came with OFW 355. I guess people were buying this to have 355 but I didn't care either way. I've been looking at YouTube vids and reading, and still just as confused as ever. Basically what I want to do is to update to 4.84 OFW, login and download...

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

Works perfect w/ 6.2 and no issues w/ files bigger then 4GB.

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

All 6.2 games are broken. This doesn't work on 6.2 if you added new titles. If the titles are from a 6.1 NAND they appear to work from what I have heard. CaitSith is aware of this and working on an update. Also hopefully he'll fix the 1.09 issue w/ 4GB files.

Homebrew RELEASE Nintendo Switch SD to NSP Dumper

It will also dump pirated games on cfw. This is useful as CDNSP is dead but FreeshopNX still works. At least to dump pirated updates to share

Homebrew Discussion Turn off your Nintendo Switch!

Yep I agree, not sure what the BIG problem w/ this is? As far as I know it's only if you use AutoRCM and the proper way to run that off is to restart and use the hekate payload and chose power off option. I also think after shut down it goes into RCM and holding power down for 15 seconds also...

Hacking Corrupt game - NSP needs to remain in SD Card?

Yea they do run but what if you do have a real corrupt one? No way of knowing. Yea tinfoil is only option on 6.0

    Hacking CDNSP is dead

Yes that's what SD to NSP was created for but nobody cared b/c CDNSP was working. Now we need this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-sd-to-nsp-dumper.514816/

Hacking Corrupt game - NSP needs to remain in SD Card?

OK thanks, going to use tinfoil as SX OS corrupted all NSPs I install. I have yet to find 1 NSP that wasn't corrupt w/ SX OS.

Hacking Corrupt game - NSP needs to remain in SD Card?

Yea ALL NSPs I install w/ SX OS are corrupt. How do you use Tinfoil? Does it work on 6.0.0.? IMO if that doesn't corrupt then that;s what I'd prefer to use. SX is fine for XCIs. EDIT: nm found it https://gbatemp.net/threads/tinfoil-now-with-network-install.515932/

Hacking Discussion PSA: Do not update to a new firmware immediately (e.g. 6.0)

NSPs install w SX OS, not sure what custome/honebrew are as never seen or used them. Idk of any homebrew that need them. The only issue w SX Pro is the LayeredFS just depends if you use it or not. I updated first keeling 6 fuses but then joycon wouldn't work in wireless until you update,so I...

    Hacking Factory restoring cfw switch

Why waste a hackable Switch by going legit? I'd sell the hackable one as not banned (cert is still good) and then buy a brand new Switch. You should be able to get as much (if not a little more) for it. You do have a slight potential ban issue since no NAND of OFW there. The issue is in the...

Hacking Discussion The classic update debate

It sounds like you're on OFW and haven't done anything to this Switch yet. You can always install previous FW down the road but once you update OFW you burn a fuse and can't downgrade. Of course by refusing to upgrade you will not have access to new games but you can just buy the carts and sell...

Gaming Japanese Exclusives with English Options

I am not aware of many games that have English on a game that is exclusive to Japan but there have been a handful here and there. It costs so much money to do that, the game winds up being released outside of japan eventually.

Gaming Switch Online REMOVES OFFLINE FEATURES FROM SOME GAMES!

Yea that's the problem w/ 6. Devmenu had that option but now we don't so have to do it manually. I have no idea where that old version log (or file) in the NAND is.

Gaming Switch Online REMOVES OFFLINE FEATURES FROM SOME GAMES!

It wouldn't be the firmware 6 update but the game's update (not really Nintendo per se). If you are running CFW (and if you are shouldn't be online at all) you could probably uninstall the game update and then edit the NAND to tell it that it never had the update installed and then you might be...
