    i have a psp 3000 with 6.20 pro. only reason why i say go got for the go is because of the onboard storage. if that wasn't there go for the 3000. i have heard stories about the ribbon in the slider though.

    the bigger the better. But i say 8gb should be ok. i have a a 16gb plus 8gb in a cr-5400 and usally have a few gb left over. movies, mp3, few psp games, psx game, and roms for emulators. plus a few hundred family pics. i was using a slow as h*** 4gb for a while but was a real pain.

    best bang for my buck was a micro sd to ms pro duo adapter with a 16 GB micro sd scandisk card (class4). read speeds up to 17mb and write up to 13Mb. Have another 8gb Class 6 on it's way now to join it with a fake photofast cr-5400. Gameplay is awesome even with .cso files. just my 2 cents...

    there is a link floating around that you download and put on ur memory stick and update to 6.39 ofw. no need to download the 6.40 update. my psp i updated to 6.39 then downgraded to 6.20 pro b-8 and my can run what every i throw at it "YET". i dunno what motherboard ur psp is so down grading...
