I’ve ordered several things over the years from them without issue. I recommend using PayPal as it is generally the easiest. Sometimes banks will block your card from going through overseas mostly due to it being not your normal location or etc.
I don’t think the file had anything special in the name but can’t look at the moment as not at home. Only thing I saw was errno invalid path followed by the path. Then it gave a thumbs up and went to the next file. It only happened on one or two games that I know of and only on DLC content...
Thanks for the reply. I’ll probably just remove the official release from my SD card and run nightlies until this becomes official. I realize it may be a long ways off but I don’t mind having to update to newer nightlies in case something breaks in another core. My primary is n64, PSX, snes...
I’ve combed through the entire thread but would like a straight answer if possible. From what I’ve read through the entire thread it seems some say do it this way some say do it that way.
Can I just take the next core from the nightly and use it on the official Retroarch release by putting...
I finished making all of my multi XCIs today. Will get to testing some probably tomorrow.
I did have an issue that popped up for a few games but it’s possible that I had bad files. When I was processing South Park The Fractured But Whole with its latest update and all DLC packs it threw out...
I might play with different buffer sizes for fun. Realistically though it may just stabilize the progress on the meter and data write speed and not make an actual difference in overall performance. Instead of ranging from 30-170mb/sec might just get straight 80 a sec or etc with no...
I assumed that’s just how it worked but wasn’t sure so thanks for clarifying. I just wanted to make sure it was working as intended. I could try it on my SSD but see no need to really. I have my source files on one drive and am having the process completed on a different drive. I know it’s...
Unfortunately I’m not qualified to really help you with that further. All I can suggest is updating windows via windows update and deleting and redownloading the software release. You could google search the error and see if anything comes up. It could, never know.
I thought the readme was very well defined as to how to use everything.
The only thing I’ve noticed that isn’t really a problem per say is that when generating the final XCI the progress speeds up then slows down to a halt then speeds back up. It’s like it’s writing chunks of data in bursts...
Before I could use this tool I had a side project to complete. Completely redid my Switch switching everything over to FAT32 and cleaned up my SD card and what not. Also redumped my NAND and keys which took awhile. I managed to make a Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda XCI with updates and DLC...
This is a fantastic tool and many thanks go out to you @JRoad for creating it. I haven’t used it yet, but, I’ve managed to read the entire thread while I was at work since I’ve been planning on using it when I get time.
I recall someone mentioning that they couldn’t split the resulting XCI...
I currently am one of those people. Haven’t done anything related online what so ever and I still have full access on my OFW. I have not messed with any layeredFS, devmenu or nsp installations yet. I’ve ran XCIs and some homebrew for cart dumping and also backed up NAND. Haven’t tried to...
Not getting into any politics either I’ve seen enough to know there’s no concrete proof of either side of the argument which is pointless anyway.
So thanks for the response didn’t feel like wasting time to install all my games as nsp if there weren’t great benefits. I might try out Donkey...
Homebrew is fee via SX OS FYI—no profit being made by it. Lots of people here appear to be misinformed or poorly educated. It’s a common thing here and other piracy friendly forums.
Even if they were selling it for profit we’d have no proof that they didn’t just write the same code on their...
Judder is a specific thing. I see what you’re seeing too but it’s definitely not judder. Judder is a specific type of motion issue due to the frame rate and refresh and most of the time someone sees imperfect motion they commonly use the term judder to describe it as you did there.
I know...
