@BORTZ
I don't know that it's possible to be 'at peace' with something like this. I suppose over time the pain will lessen, but it will probably always be there. But so will the love you have for your friend.
I don't know what to say. Thank you for updating us, I was wondering how things were. I can only offer my condolences and I hope that whatever happens there is as little suffering as possible (for everyone).
I definitely read that Nintndo does not own the intellectual property for all of it, which is why they switched from the Kremlings to the Tikis. Who knows what the legal situation actually is, or was, though, since these things are rarely as simple as they might seem.
Not DK. AFAIK the other characters (enemies from the original games) were property of Rare and now Microsoft so can't be reused. That's why they didn't appear in Returns or Tropical freeze.
It probably wouldn't be a difficult conversion. The Tropical Freeze engine would work. They just need to port it to the Switch, re-render the graphics assets, add the missing assets, and make the levels so they matched the original games.
However, this will never happen since Nintendo aren't...
If you just want to play the games and don't care about the additional features of emulators, then the best option is the 3DS Virtual Console. You can inject SNES ROMs yourself, or download pre-made CIAs to install to your CFW 3DS.
That depends whether you're using the word as a proper noun to refer to an actual living being, or as an abstract concept. For this reason, I find it extremely irritating that my phone, iPad and computer all seem to assume the former and automatically capitalise the word 'god' whenever I write it.
Add to that list innocently believing in the wrong skydaddy because you were born in a country that hasn't been 'blessed' by missionaries bringing their message of peace/love/damnation.
