revisted my old mario maker levels i made when i was like 12 ahead of the shutdown today. amazing to think every level uploaded has been played and beaten, most were probably really shit like mine 💀
I haven't been a fan of DBZ and Toriyama's other works for as long as most people. In fact, I think I only first experienced DBZ like 3 years ago. Still, this is devastating to hear. Toriyama's work managed to touch so many people in so many ways. Iconic fight scenes, all the memes, other media...
This is so strange. Why a podcast? If they're simply pulling out of the console market, they could just make it a press release. If they're doing something more than that, surely they'd do more than a podcast? I'm interested to see what they discuss on thursday...
i uploaded a class project i wasn't super-proud of, but it got like 2k views and i had like 150 people sub to me after. it's definitely inspired me to make more stuff as it's something i just find enjoyable anyway
i've actually been makin some headway on my yt channel lately. i think rather than people saying "its impossible to succeed on yt, dont even try", people should be saying "you need to actually have talent" which apparently i do??
Not gonna lie this show was an embarassment. They're not even trying to hide that this is an advertising billboard first and an awards show second. They gave award winners such little time to give a speech (even if they needed a translator), but give all the time in the world to random celebs...
maybe i'm a content-starved valve fan but i am so happy that valve finally updated half life on steam. they brought back the won menu and honestly that's all i've ever wanted
Hope this comes to PC or console at some point, i saw a tweet from someone from sega that said the game being on apple arcade basically just meant it can't come to android specifically.
really all i've done is swap the front half with the front half of another of the same model, but if i end up doing anything further with it i'll certainly try to document the process
resurrected a portable dvd player today. it had a broken screen, which was replaced. interestingly, it also has usb and sd slots, as well as a port labeled av in/out. maybe i'll be able to do something cool with it.
I think people care too much. Charles Martinet will forever be THE voice of Mario in my heart, but I understand why they'd want him to step down. I'd prefer that he step down to whatever "Mario Ambassador" will be while he's still healthy. This new voice isn't bad, but yes of course it'll be...
I honestly really like the attachable disc drive. Not surpised that it costs more to buy the drive seperate if you buy the digital console. It'll also be good in case the drive fails, you can just buy another instead of having to get a new console or get it repaired. Much better than MS, who...
