Hacking Wii U USB loading - install WiiU games to USB or internal memory

Well I tried putting all the files directly into the Install folder instead of its own folder, and now its stuck at: "Installing title... install 00050000101DF400 - 3529.2/3529.2 MB (100%) Please wait..." Been like that for about an hour now. Safe to just power cycle? EDIT: Okay, just power...

    Homebrew Mario Maker BAN question

Ah, wasn't quite sure the scope they used with the banning process. Forgot about that opt-in, been so long since I used my 3DS.

    Homebrew Mario Maker BAN question

Could just be paranoia, but Nintendo systems love having activity logs on their systems, so even after connecting online once the game is released, couldn't they just pull that information if they had any suspicion of you and find it being played before release date?

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

Hey guys, been a while since I last bothered to hack on my Wii-U. Saw Hyrule Warriors updated so here you guys go, codes for v1.11.0!

    Hacking Hyrule Warriors save editing

I'm assuming you're talking about the dojo level up I helped find? I wouldn't really use the word "contrived", but rather it was thought outside the box. People wanted a way to just modify the level itself rather than think about modifying the way to gain levels. But that's besides the point...

Hm, that is very interesting. In that case, mine was on save file 2, and I'm assuming yours was originally on save file 1 or 3?

Only one should be linked to your hp, but what I'd do would either keep the addresses in the Watchlist to see all them update together and do the following; Heal yourself to full health or have the round end so you start the next round at full health and see what the value in the address shows...

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

@CosmoCortney Yes, every time I poked the lives and coin addresses, they always updated both in levels and out of them, and I tested the timer by putting it to 5 seconds left to run out and it made me lose a life for running out of time.

Okay, tested them again and the codes still worked. So here is the dump from my end.

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

Okay, I can get to work on that later tonight when I get back home. Just to make sure, you'd only need the dump of the address range affected (37800000), or the entire thing?

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

Yes, the effects of the codes lasted throughout the play session of worlds 1 and 2 while I was testing. Haven't tested on another wii u yet since my friend doesn't have a copy of the game, and mine is digital. Though the last time I borrowed his wii u to test my Hyrule Warrior codes between the...

I posted some codes for Super Mario 3D World not too long ago, had other things taking priority over finding stuff like getting my Wii finally fully hacked to use backups.

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

Here's my digging around on 3D World for now, can't really do much with pointer searching yet. All these codes are for the NTSC-U region. 1,000 Lives - Digital version (Sets lives to Crown00) 00020000 378DFE04 000003E8 00000000 100 Coins - Digital Version (Grab a coin to gain a life instantly)...

Then sounds like it could be an address referencing to a pointer instead, which the pointer will always take priority. So if you can find a pointer for something, you should always try to modify those values instead. Not sure if I still have 3D World or Super Luigi U, but I'll check later today...

If you update the value in the address and see a change in the game to the new value, then either just keep repoking that address with the value to refresh the timer or make a code in JGecko to freeze the value to the address.

Hacking Post your WiiU cheat codes here!

That was for v1.9 NTSC-U, I couldn't find the updated address due to having no new characters to level. It should work in both JGecko and TCP Gecko, they're just different programs that do pretty much the same thing with poking memory.

Alright, thanks for helping out! And no, 8-bit can hold values of up to 255 (FF), so you'll never need to search for a higher value. (Level 160 = A0 for example.)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
