    Yes, the victory theme is a sequence rather than a stream. It's likely baked into the executable. This is mono in the original game as well, so replacing it would unfortunately be a bit pointless

    It might be possible, I wouldn't know. On the OG 3DS certain games enter an extended memory mode which requires a reboot and limits OS functionality, right? Would it perhaps be possible to use this on a New 3DS, but rather than using the memory for the game it's used for the low-res video stream?

    The animations are totally different, though. You can probably tell how much more detailed the faces are in Definitive Edition. You can't just place them in the Wii game and expect it to look decent. Also, this isn't as important, but Definitive Edition adds facial animations outside of motion...
