Citra 3DS emulator is also shutting down development, GitHub repo taken down

yea fuck nintendo, not feeling guilty to hack their consoles. Their development in nowdays games also feel like they lost their passion. I'd rather pirate their games first to even see if i really can enjoy them anymore. The only game i really enjoyed in the switch era was mainly Zelda BOTW...

    Hacking R4 SDHC Dual-Core 2023(can't open_dsmenu.dat)

looks like a clone. the ".hk" ending of the website is mostly used by clones. maybe look through this thread and try to load some firmwares.

Hardware My Nintendo Switch is Bricked ? ( Stuck on the Boot Screen )

Most likely a hardware issue. Found a video where a chip was desoldered and soldered back on/replaced. people were referring to a broken wifi chip too, which could also be possible. Other than checking the motherboard for faulty parts i dont think there is another option (my opinion at least).

PS1/2 Possible to use FMCB to load apps from HDD?

Fair point. I mean, there are ways of playing them without a modchip if i read correctly, like tonyhax or disc swap. but at that point i think its way easier to keep using the modchip. Maybe MechaPWN is also a way, but its also complex and for more-newer models. And if the HDD somehow spins at...

Hacking Hardware Homebrew Problem With PS2 Network Adapter and SATA HDD

I had similar issues, i think everyone recommended formatting through uLE and other formatting options, nothing worked properly. in the end, the only thing that worked was some different format in WinHIIP, i think it was actually the Toxic OS one.

PS2 Fat boots FHDB but won't load apps like OPL

As far as i remember, i had plenty issues with my HDD until i formatted it with WinHIIP. i dont know the name of the format though. Still, with every other way of formatting (like wLaunchElf/uLE) i got problems...

PS1/2 Possible to use FMCB to load apps from HDD?

Weirdly, PS2-Home was working yesterday when i was writing my comment. After refreshing the page, i got the same error. Might be a server issue. Anyways, why the use of a Modchip? Only asking because i mainly avoid modchips and i would like to know the use for it. I am not sure, but i think as...

PS1/2 Possible to use FMCB to load apps from HDD?

As i recall, FMCB is started up by the Memory Card which prevents some HDD content to work properly. I think thats why people invented FHDB which basically starts from the HDD and should work better with HDD content. I can recommend this website for FMCB/FHDB content: ps2-home

Hacking Could it be possible to change the size of a backup from the eMMC?

After some time i got to meet with my friend, now the only thing that is hard to get working is the memloader step. since there is no emummc ini and img, i dont know how to make it work. the only thing i tried to make the emummc visible in linux was with hekate in the tools section where you can...

unbricking wii u black screen of death

the problem of "coldbooting" in this scenario is, that it's just loading a bit later in the bootchain as far as i understood. Tiramisu or Aroma are just "environments" which can be coldbooted with several exploits, just like CBHC but for that one you indeed needed a DS game which has become...

unbricking wii u black screen of death

Some things i've gathered for now, correct me if im wrong: 1. No HDMI signal 2. System won't boot into Gary's recovery menu 3. Gamepad not synced with the console 4. Lan adapter in standby mode isn't helping I don't know what exactly was tried else and what was said on other threads. I still...

Hacking Could it be possible to change the size of a backup from the eMMC?

I was hacking the switch from a friend and managed to get a 4gb emuMMC working. He then later asked if the storage could be extended to 8gb. i made a backup from the 4gb emuMMC and restored it on the new 8gb partition. Unfortunately when i go to settings and storage, there will be still 4gb...
