Thanks. I was mistaken about the ID, and I did have to change it to 0000 to work.
After all that, I'm sticking with the J2Evisceration version. I prefer that translation better.
According to the SNES compatibility doc, Final Fantasy II (IV) with the Namingway mod should be compatible with Canoe. I used the ROM with the correct checksum, and tried adding it to hakchi using both Hakchi and DA's sfrom tool, and I get a C7 at bootup. Has anyone else had this trouble?
No, I'll give that a try, thanks.
Separate question - I added Goof Troop to my 2.21f library. Is there supposed to be a prompt for patching the ROM? I didn't see any message. Does it do it automatically when converting it to sfrom?
I have my SNESC set up for no scanlines for CRT mode when running Canoe. What adjustment do I need to make to keep that for RetroArch automatically? By default in CRT mode, it has bi-linear filtering on (which I want) and scanlines on (which I don't want).
One way is to switch the system to 4x3...
I haven't updated my SNES Classic for a while. I've been using 2.21f and the snes_custom_filters HMOD to remove the scanlines from CRT mode, and that was the only mod I had on my SNES. This week, I wanted to add RetroArch, genesis_plus and Genesis games. I added your latest RetroArch and...
Actually, I found what's causing it. I just checked the .desktop file, and it shows the following (emphasis mine):
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/bin/gba /usr/share/games/nes/kachikachi/CLV-A-XBEHS/Zelda_-_Minish_Cap.gba.7z
Path=/var/lib/clover/profiles/0/CLV-A-XBEHS
Name=The Legend of...
Sometimes games that start with the word "The" are sorted by T, and some are sorted by the first letter following "The". It seems to happen at random when loading games. Right now, I have Minish Cap sorted under "Legend" and the other Game Boy Zelda games sorted under "The". What's causing it to...
For the longest time, 32X games worked spotty at best. NBA Jam TE for example would boot just fine, but the screen would remain black when starting a game. Does the latest Picodrive work with that game?
Thanks. The ROM I used was the same file name, but with a different checksum. I instead found a ROM that was already patched, and that boots fine.
VS. Super Mario Bros. appears to run fine, but with garbled audio. Is that happening for everyone?
I added the modded colorized version of Super Mario Land 2 to my NESC, but it fails to load on RetroArch/Gambatte. I used a verified good dump version of the ROM before modding it, so I don't think it's the ROM. This is supposed to work even on original hardware. Has anyone else tried this?
Something had happened to the files when I copied them over from my 2.21d build to 2.21f. I still had a backup of my 2.14 build, and I copied over the ROMs from there, and they all load fine now. I can see nothing wrong with the malfunctioning ROMs as they should be 1:1 copies, but since it all...
I've been using your core. Your latest RetroArch and CPS3 cores. When I loaded SF3, it immediately went back to menu as if the command line was wrong. (It wasn't) I even tried your old no-save hmods which worked for me in the past. Same result. And on top of that, half of my Genesis and 2/3 of...
No, the file names are fine. These are the same ROMs I've been using since v2.12, and they haven't given me any trouble until now. About half of my Genesis ROMs load from the main menu, and about a third of my GBC/GBA ROMs load from the main menu. All arcade ROMs load fine, except Street Fighter...
I have a problem with the latest version of Hakchi on my NESC and non-NES ROMs. I didn't have this problem with older versions of Hakchi.
Certain games (CPS3, Game Boy, Genesis) fail to boot from the main menu. They do boot and play fine if I manually load a core and ROM in RetroArch. I...
Does it matter if you run "uninstall custom kernel" from v2.21f if 2.21e is installed on the SNES? Or is it better to open 2.21e, remove custom kernel, close 2.21e, open 2.21f, install custom kernel?
Thanks. And what's the most efficient way to update my system from e to f? Install new Hakchi and select "Boot patched kernel from RAM"? Or should I do a full uninstall/reinstall?
@SylverReZ I've never used a disposable, seems like a waste. kinda cool idea tho. It would be nice to have vape built in to a cell phone even. "The iVape"
only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that
