What is the path to the folder? Maybe it's too long or has some strange characters in it. Try moving it to like C:\gco

Hacking WiiU Game Icons to Game Covers Script!

Some changes 11/19/17... Added a "force" option to the TGA conversion batch script. It will now skip files that are already there and not re-convert them unless "force" is specified. For the cover matching script, I added support for matching covers for GameCube games (GC games installed via...

    Hacking External Hard Drive Disconnecting

Anyone else have an issue where their external hard drive disconnects randomly? I have the hidden option in the Wii U turned off so it doesn't power it down. I also have it connected with a Y cable. The power part of the Y cable is connected to a USB power adapter and I've tried both 0.5 amp...

    Homebrew Gamecube ISO/GCM Organizer Script

Sorta kinda: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/PS2EXE-Convert-PowerShell-9e4e07f1 ... but not really as you would still need to specify command line options so it's not really any different. Unless you are referring to creating a GUI version. That would take a decent amount of time for...

Hacking WiiFlow 4 The Masterpiece Pack by Abz

Does anyone know what settings to use for the gamecube/nintendont game save block size under wiiflow? nintendont via wiiflow is creating 512k files / 59 blocks. nintendont via cfg usb loader creates 2mb (251 block) files.

    Homebrew Gamecube ISO/GCM Organizer Script

That's correct, I don't modify your source structure at all. The only thing I can suggest is you run it for half your files and then delete what it has processed already and then run it on the other half.

    Homebrew Gamecube ISO/GCM Organizer Script

You can also execute a script by adding the "-executionpolicy bypass" switch. e.g.-- powershell -executionpolicy bypass -f "Gamecube ISO Organizer.ps1" -scan "e:\PATH\TO\ISOS_AND_GCMS\TO_SCAN" -dest "e:\PATH\TO\DESTINATION" I'll add it to the usage instructions. Thanks.

    Homebrew Gamecube ISO/GCM Organizer Script

I couldn't find anything out there that would automatically organize and name a folder full of ISOs/GCMs like WiiBackup manager can do. So I wrote yet another script utilizing some other tools to get the job done. Requires DiscEx and the Gamecube ISO Tool (both included in the zip). If you...

Hacking WiiFlow and Nintendont Memory Card Emulation Help

For anyone else searching this, I got it to work globally by putting the following in the wiiflow.ini under [DML]: devo_memcard_emu=no dml_nmm=2 (I set the settings manually for one game and this is what it added to the game setting file. So I took it out of there and put it in the ini and it...

Homebrew Rom Cover Matching Script + 2D to Spine Convertor

So I recently embarked on getting Wiiflow mastermod setup. This led me to getting matching covers for all of my roms. I couldn't find a great tool to do this. I tried "fuzzy match" and "Cover-2-Rom" and a couple others. None gave me the versatility and precision I was looking for. So, like...

Hacking If your USB HD won't load - check GPT vs MBR !

I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why a USB HD would not mount on this Wii I was setting up. I could see it getting activity and sometimes USB Loader GX would read it. CFG USB Loader, snes9xgx, fceultragx, etc would never load it though. As a last ditched effort I downloaded...

Hacking WiiFlow 4 The Masterpiece Pack by Abz

Is there an updated tutorial somewhere for setting up the wiiflow mastermod? I really like the idea of having 1 loader to go into for all systems with boxart for snes, nes, gc, etc all in one spot. Looks awesome. I have "WiiFlow (v4.2.3) Nintendont MasterMod Pack Full 2016" downloaded but...

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
