My vWii definitely isn't hacked. Never did it as wasn't necessary to run the wiiu games obviously. I understood with this new method of injection the vWii didn't need to be hacked? I'll feel ridiculous if its been this all along and I just hack vWii and it will all work?
OK, as luck would have it I had my work bag home and dug out an old SD (proper full size sd) and also had another microsd. I put all files on both and still no luck.
I did however notice during the peace and quiet that my external hd seems to 'turn off' briefly between leaving the wiiu menu and...
Sandisk ultra 64gb microsd which is in the SD adaptor it came with. Have loaded and installed dozens of U games from it over the last few months never skipped a beat.

Only have MicroSD's with adaptors. They haven't caused problems before though? Weird right?
Yeah that's where it's always been in the apps folder not the wii folder. Was only as a last resort I moved it to wii>apps just in case. Didn't make a difference either way.

Already had that file on there. Swapped it for yours though and still no good. 11pm here now and am wiped. Hopefully can kick off here again tomorrow and get it going. Not a deal breaker but would be great to re-live some of the classic GC games. Thanks heaps for the help.
I did have nintendont in same location as above but it was missing the meta and icon files. I downloaded them from the site you linked, put the sd back in the wiiu and attempted to load my game and still no dice, got the black wii logo page within about 10 seconds then total lockout. Can't...
In need of help.
I’ve used this script to create the installable folder with a couple GCube games. I’ve also created an install folder using the wii u USB helper app method also. Neither install works whether it’s installed with wup installer y or gx2. The game loads to a splash screen (the...
Nuh it was a joke, but I used to bite my nails when I was young, but when I started doing construction work and seen what crap was under my nails, I stopped.
