    Homebrew Why is luigis mansion dark moon such a problem game on citra?

    Why is this game so hard to emulate? Was it coded poorly or something? I remember massive framerate drops in both 2d and 3d modes on the real console. It cant be pushing the 3ds for everything it got, because ironfall runs perfect, and that game pushed the 3ds as far as it can go.

    Exactly what the title says. Is it something so the system can use both cpu cores? I heard one core is reserved for the os, so I'm not sure.

    What I'm trying to say is, from a technical viewpoint does turning off 3d on the 3ds make the gpu render only one single image, or does it render the two as if it's in 3d still? I'm not sure because turning off 3d doesn't give a performance boost in some games.
