It does and it can create partitions for both Android and emuMMC but I couldn't get it to flash any of the Switchroot image files successfully.
Thanks for the tip off. It can only boot Atmosphere up to 10.2.0 though.
As far as the version of Hekate I settled on personally for booting...
Ah I see. Your post inspired me to do the same in lieu of being able to use one SD card. Now I have 'reboot to bootloader' functional on Android (after some investigation) and in Atmosphere I use my trick to get back to the right version of Hekate for booting Switchroot. I'm willing to make this...
Glad to hear it worked! I thought I had Android working, but apparently I had only tested booting into TWRP. Once there my SD card showed as empty (unable to mount any partitions) and booting normally into Android doesn't work at all. Thinking the script I mentioned above perhaps created some...
Created a workaround: Re-label the 5.0.0 bootloader folder in the root directory as bootloader-5.0.0, and copy over the 5.5.1 bootloader folder to the root directly as-is. If you need to payload into 5.0.0 just delete the update.bin file in the 5.5.1 folder. Update.bin will automatically...
Ok, here’s the short version – I used this script in Ubuntu to wipe & partition my 256GB SD card & flash Switchroot LineageOS 15.1. Success. Next, I restored a backup of my emuMMC to the partition the script created specifically for it. Success. Finally, I copied over all the remaining files and...
I use "timeless" and "classic" for classifying games, books, TV shows, movies, music, etc. Old just sounds sad, lol.
To fall in the "timeless" camp requires losing myself in the experience whether it's for the first time or many times after. I've played the original Castlevania for example...
I had to remove the line "kip1patch=nosigchk" out of hekate_ipl.ini wherever it appeared otherwise I got a black screen error with "Failed to apply nosigchk" in bright red, but after removing this line I can boot normally.
Is this line even needed for anything anymore? I copied it at some point...
If you don't enable flog can uLaunch be used online with little risk? As I understand it, this appears to be the only thing that would cause an anomaly in the telemetry reporting. Unless there's something else that would?
I successfully backed up and copied over my existing emuMMC partition to a new SD card using ODIN last night. YMMV, but here's how I did it...
Using this version of ODIN with no options applied, I created an image file backup. Then using the first part of this tutorial I split my new SD card's...
Weird. Maybe it does this for you? I tested this out a few times today but using hbmenu redirect doesn't seem to be logging time towards any game I use it on whether I have the user selection screen skipped or not. Not that I'm complaining at all, I was kinda hoping this might be the case.
Nice app! I'm curious if using a particular app to load hbmenu counts towards its "playing time history" or only when the game is actively being played does it log the time. Anyone know?
I had the same thought on caffeine until I just went for it and tried it. Sysnans 4.1.0 to Emunand 9.0.1. It works amazingly well. If you have a phone with a mobile wifi hotspot set the switch to connect to it through the modified DNS and you're good to go almost anywhere you have cell service...
Future warm/cold boot options requiring lower firmware levels would be my thought. I've resisted the 9.0 GC firmware update so far, but not sure how long I want to hold out.
For anyone that might know - could the GC firmware be emulated somehow to avoid having to patch it permanently? Or is...
@DarkMatterCore, does an .XCI dump from your tool contain the game cert automatically or do you need to use the optional "GC Cert Dump" and merge it somehow to the .XCI dump?
Thank you, just the knowledge I was hoping someone could shed light on here. So, SX OS can mount (just not install) an .XCI dump that would be playable online. Does this require using the "GC cert dump" option in nxdumptool, or does simply dumping to .XCI cover this? Thx!
