    EUREKA !!! renamed it correctly and the notification came up. DAMN Thanks a TON !!! Is it supposed to take awhile? Actually my glitch hack takes forever sometimes to boot.....so it's trying to glitch now after I said "YES ACCEPT UPDATE"

    Not really. I deleted dashlaunch so it auto boots to Aurora. The zip file had a folder in it called \SystemUpdate_17559_USB\$Systemupdate which is 152 MB I copied $systemupdate to the usb drive and renamed it $$systemupdate

    I know :wacko: But I had to google XBOX 360 update offline and found the MS site for the 17559 dash. Wasn't clear to get to from the MS website. Crazy....but I think this is it.

    From MS "Most USB flash drives come formatted as FAT32 and will have to be reformatted to NTFS."

    Xbox dash under storage says it's not a valid format system. Follwing the MS instructions it said to format the usb as NTSF

    Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button  on the console. Only way?

    I'll try your Avatar tutorial....think that's what I need. Aurora I can always just do a fresh install. Dashlaunch and XEXmenu still work fine it's just Aurora . Acting like my grey out avatar.

    Ah eureka ! Ok that makes sense. The Aurora thing I'm just going to do a fresh install. Probably do a fresh install of Dashlaunch and XEXmenu too. I can just delete those off the hard drive and reinstall without issue. Or do I need to watch for permissions on something ? @godreborn I see...
